We only share your data with other parties if it is truly necessary for our services. These parties include delivery partners, suppliers or repair technicians, product support services, payment partners, IT service providers, and parties that collect our reviews. For example, our delivery partners need your data to deliver your order to the correct address. Parties such as data management platforms, media and advertising agencies, and research firms may be involved when we provide you with personalized advice or targeted advertisements, such as based on your interest in specific products. In suspicious situations, we are required to share customer data with government authorities.

The parties that receive access to your data from us may only use it to provide a service on our behalf (SYMBIONT), unless they are responsible for obtaining and protecting your data themselves. Some cookie developers have access to the data collected by cookies on our website. You can read more about this in our cookie policy and the privacy policies of these parties. We never sell your data to third parties.

Where is your data stored:

We store your data in various databases, always adhering to strict security measures. Therefore, your data is almost always stored within the European Union. In the exceptional case that customer data is transferred to countries outside the European Union, we ensure that your privacy remains adequately protected. For some countries, this has been officially established. Some U.S. companies are registered under the Privacy Shield, which provides sufficient protection. Alternatively, we work with official contracts specifically designed to safeguard your privacy.

How long is your data retained:

We retain and use your data only as long as necessary. After that, we delete all the data we have about you or use your data anonymously for internal analyses and reports, such as evaluating the value of your order.

Below are the retention periods:

  • Recorded phone calls are deleted after 28 days unless there is a legal obligation to retain a call for a longer period.
  • Camera footage from our stores is not kept longer than 28 days unless we observe something suspicious that requires further investigation or if the footage needs to be retained longer due to another legal obligation.
  • Order details, including name, address, postal code, city, phone number, ordered products, invoice, and payment information, are retained indefinitely as we use this data for analysis and handling matters like warranty claims. You always have the right to modify, review, or request deletion/anonymization of this data.
  • If you have your product repaired or replaced by SYMBIONT, we retain your warranty request and contact details. Afterward, we use your data only anonymously for internal reports.
  • If you have signed up for the newsletter or given consent to receive personalized messages, we retain that consent. If you decide at any point that you no longer wish to receive the newsletter or personalized messages, we also retain the withdrawal of your consent. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.
  • Data used to prevent fraud is retained indefinitely.

What rights do you have?

You remain in control of your data at all times. If you want to access your personal data and receive a copy, or if you wish to modify, delete, limit the use of your data, or adjust your email preferences, that's no problem. You can do so by notifying us via post or email. This is also how you can object to the use of your data for marketing purposes or indicate that you believe your privacy outweighs our interest. In such cases, we will reassess the situation.

Unsubscribing from the newsletter is simple. You can do this via the link in the newsletter itself. If you prefer to stop using cookies entirely, you can manage that yourself too. Check our cookie policy to learn how.
